Canada Day Picnic
July 1, 2012 at Valley Park Middle School
MPP Wynne would like to thank all those who made time to attend the Canada Day Celebration Picnic on July 1.
The community was present in record numbers and MPP Wynne was happy to meet and greet many constituents who came out in large numbers with their family and friends.
The stage was set by singing “O Canada” followed by a dance performance, speeches, raffle prizes and the planting of a willow tree.
It was a fabulous event with favourable weather. The picnic consisted of refreshments, including a snow cone station, a steel band, bouncy castle, reading tent, henna and face painting tents as well as socializing with neighbours, friends and family.
